Mere Mortal asked:

I do not make much money and what I do make goes to a sizable mortgage and utility bills…but I want to fly!

My local airport provides very affordable tie-downs and is across the street from my abode. Flying for me will be far more expensive than inconvenient. I have fixated on the Cessna 150…perhaps I am overlooking an even less expensive GA aircraft?

(DANxAIR-Daniair) asked:

The aircraft I’m flying is the Thomas Ruth Tu-144 v2 (FS9) but I’m flying it in FSX. When I fly most of these varients of this plane, the screen point is off. Bottom of the screen is blank which makes the view smaller, also I can not pull the view down to fit the screen. How can I change this to a view that is fitting all the screen. What do I do in the cfg file and ofher files of the aircraft.

Moonwalker asked:

I have a 61-key Yamaha keyboard. I’m not sure if I can fly with it on either domestic or international flights. Does anyone know if the airline will let me fit it in the overhead compartment? I’ve traveled with my guitar before which fitted in the compartment just fine, but I don’t know about the keyboard.

Additional Details

PS. I am moving to Japan in a few months and would really like to bring my keyboard with me onto the aircraft. GEnuine answers will be appreciated.

I know that commercial flights are not allowed fly at super-sonic speeds. If the sound is a few second behind the aircraft, hasn’t that plane broken the sound barrier?

Big G asked:

If you have to register an aircraft how do you do it and where do you go to get an application? If you have to register it at all. I seem to think you don’t have to.
BTW primarily buying it new. But feel free to tell about any pre-owned.
What is that suppose to mean if I fly it me, myself and I it doesn’t have to be registered? That can’t be right.

How does atmospheric air pressure affect the power required to fly an aircraft?

Max asked:

Does an aircraft need more or less power as it gains altitude and the air pressure gets lower.
Some say it needs less power because there is less resistance and some say it needs more power because the less resistance causes less buoyancy.
