I enlisted in the Air Force as a tactical aircraft maintenance apprentice. I have yet to go to BMT and tech school. I always thought of tactical as being some sort of fighter, but I was wondering if i could be assigned to a UAV?

Why isn’t all the flying handled by the Air Force? I can sort of understand why the Navy does because of the aircraft carriers, but I don’t understand why the others do.
