gregva2001 asked:

I wonder, is a scram/ram jet airliner, that travels above the normal means of todays airliners, something of fiction, or are we close to this? It would seem if we could have such an aircraft able to take of and land at normal speeds, rapidily ascend to altitudes above the “sonic boom” noise envelope,it would be viable, cutting international times by 1/2? any thoughts? would love to hear from actual commerical aircraft drivers regarding training, problems etc. thanks

I would like to have a career in aircraft sales and leasing.
How do I break into this field?

I have many years of sales and management experience, but none in this new field. How can enter this exciting field, and what can I expect to earn if I make it to the top? Thanks in advance. Also, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cara asked:

An airplane that is 4000 ft. in the air and is going 300 mph is being tracked at an observation point. At that moment the observation points elevation angle is pi/6. How fast is the angle decreasing? How fast is the distance between the aircraft and the observation point changing? (one mile= 5280 feet).

***showing how you solved the problem would be great.
the plane is flying directly away from the observation point.

Munku asked:

I’m not an A&P, but if I created a non-certificated engine & installed it into a production (Piper) aircraft (would be my own plane), what would I do next for the FAA to let me fly it both IFR & VFR, any time of day, and non-commercially? What type of airworthiness certificate would I need? I imagine I’d need a supplemental type certificate? How much do approvals, a/w, and type certicates cost?

Zachary C asked:

Does the army have any of there own aircraft or are all their aircraft needs fulfilled by different branches?
Terry E- You’re a complete moron. I’d say more but I think that speaks for itself.
I was under the impression that the army utilized c-5’s I guess I was mistaken though?
