A friend of mine told me that the Air Force is planning on replacing the vast majority of their combat and reconnaissance aircraft with UAV’s by 2035, but I can’t find anything to back this up. Has anyone else heard of plans like these?

I know the Marine Corp has the 5th biggest air force in the world but there is still the Army, Navy, and Coast Guard. i have done some research but i want to continue as an aircraft mechanic after the military, so i am also looking for good benefits.
